On January 3rd yoga instructors Debby, Megan and Laurie of Marco Island Yoga held a special, all levels yoga class on South Beach. All proceeds from the event went to the Marco Island Beach Advisory Committee in their effort to educate Marco’s youth on the importance of beach stewardship.

Though the weather was overcast and a little chilly, around 50 people of all different levels came out for the event. Megan led the session, instructing the group through a handful of different poses and positions, the Gulf of Mexico acting as a peaceful backdrop to their exercise. Together Debby, Megan and Laurie were able to raise an impressive $554.00 to be donated to the committee.
